What's covered

Defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use, including:

  • Tri-ply layers separating or peeling apart
  • Loose, broken, or defective handles and rivets
  • Structural issues that affect the cookware's function
  • Lids with fit problems, faulty welds, or loose handles
  • Base separation or unusual deformation from a manufacturing defect
  • Defective glass lids, knobs, or attachments from manufacturing defects

What's not covered

Normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage, including:

  • Commercial kitchen, restaurant, or non-household use
  • Improper use, misuse, or abuse
  • Damage from overheating
  • Sudden temperature changes (thermal shock)
  • Warping from excessive or prolonged high heat
  • Surface scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage
  • Discoloration, staining, rainbow marks, or water spots
  • Burnt food residue or cooking buildup
  • Damage from dropping or heavy impact
  • Improper cleaning methods
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear from regular use

What's covered

Defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use, including:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship present at the time of manufacture
  • Chipping, cracking, blistering, or other enamel defects determined by Lexi Home to have resulted from a manufacturing defect
  • Separation or delamination of the enamel coating caused by a manufacturing defect
  • Loose, broken, or defective handles, knobs, or other hardware resulting from a manufacturing defect
  • Manufacturing defects affecting the lid, including improper fit or defects in the lid or knob

What's not covered

Normal wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage, including:

  • Enamel chipping or cracking caused by: dropping the cookware or lid; impact with sinks, countertops, stovetops, or other cookware; improper storage or stacking; use of excessive force with metal utensils; or accidental damage
  • Enamel crazing (webbing) — fine hairline lines that may develop as the cookware expands and contracts during normal heating and cooling. Crazing is cosmetic and does not affect performance
  • Damage resulting from: heating an empty pot; overheating or prolonged use over high heat; thermal shock (placing a hot pot into cold water); use in a microwave; commercial, restaurant, catering, or rental use; or misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling
  • Surface scratches, staining, mineral deposits, discoloration, and loss of gloss or shine
  • Damage caused by improper cleaning, such as using steel wool, abrasive scouring pads, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaners
